Return & Refunds

At Chelino Baby Store, we understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations — and that’s okay! We're here to make returns and refunds as easy and stress-free as possible for you.


1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns within 7 days of the delivery date, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item is unused, unassembled, and in its original packaging

  • All tags, manuals, parts, and accessories are included

  • You provide proof of purchase (receipt or order number)


2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are not eligible for return or exchange unless faulty:

  • Breast pumps & accessories

  • Bottles, dummies (pacifiers), and teething toys

  • Mattresses and bedding

  • Toiletries and nappies

  • Clearance or sale items (marked “Final Sale”)


3. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item is defective or damaged upon arrival:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide photos of the item and packaging

  • We will arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund depending on the nature of the fault


4. How to Return an Item

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at [support@chelinobaby.co.za] with your order number and reason for return

  2. Our team will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions

  3. Ship the item back using a trackable courier (unless we arrange collection)

  4. Once received and inspected, we’ll process your refund or exchange


5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customer-initiated returns: Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

  • Faulty or incorrect items: We will cover the cost of return shipping or arrange collection.


6. Refunds

Once your return is approved and received:

  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method

  • You will receive a confirmation email once your refund is complete


7. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item (e.g. for a different size or color), please contact us within 7 days. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
